Dr. Hochberg has been a licensed psychologist for the past 40 years and has been a clinical supervisor for master level clinicians for the past 10 years.
He has worked at several universities, prisons, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics delivering quality mental health treatment to a variety of cultures. Dr. Hochberg has made several appearances on Radio, T.V. relating his presentation to the effects of stress on our daily lives. His approach to therapy results from experience from Zen and studying with a Sufi master named Bawa Muhaiyadden for the past 47 years.
Dr. Hochberg emphasizes the role of attachment as it relates to suffering and fear. The present crisis in the world is causing increased difficulties for individuals and families, and warrants a deeper investigation as to what it means to be born as a human being.
Dr. Hochberg is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and currently resides in rural Pennsylvania where he works in an outpatient clinic as a clinical supervisor and evaluator.
Alexandria Ayala was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in Palm Beach County since 2000. She is a proud product of three Palm Beach County public schools, Palm Springs Elementary, Palm Springs Middle and John I. Leonard High. After graduating with honors, she went on to the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism Studies. Currently, she works for The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, serving the residents of District 4.
Alexandria has previously worked for the Florida Legislature, a U.S. Senate Campaign, and The Florida Democratic Party and most recently as a campaign consultant, working hard to help community leaders become our elected representatives. Through her experiences, Alexandria has had the opportunity to build relationships with statewide and local elected officials and has extensive governmental affairs experience.
Alexandria is very passionate about education, equity and leadership. Alexandria is a member of the Hispanic Education Coalition of Palm Beach County, a champion non-profit committed to achieving equity for Palm Beach County students. She is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Grow and Engage programs, widely recognized as the premier non-profit organization training our established and up-and-coming leaders. She proudly serves as a member of the Palm Beach County Advisory Commission on Women and as such contributes to moving our community forward towards equality. As a mentor for New Leaders Council and Run For Something- two organizations that focus on recruiting, training and supporting young, progressive individuals- she utilizes her skills and experiences to pass down that knowledge to others. Alexandria is a graduate of the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Glass Leadership Institute, their cornerstone training program that empowers its graduates to work towards ending hate, extremism and the defamation of the Jewish people as well as other communities.
Eddie Lewis has worked in several hospitals, mental health and behavioral health facilities located in the city of Buffalo New York for the past 30+ years. Mr. Lewis is a veteran of the Unite States Army and specialized in medical combat trainings for his unit. He presently works in an outpatient facility that services residents of Buffalo New York who are seeking treatment for behavioral health services.
